I have to make a hazardous journey by car in rush hour across the Thames to the East of London in the next few days. But what is the easiest, safest, fastest and cheapest (avoiding the congestion charge) way for me to cross – Dartford Tunnel/Bridge? Woolwich Ferry ? Blackwall Tunnel ? Rotherhithe Tunnel ? Tower Bridge ? or is there another way ?
